Prayerlessness

Many Catholics and especially fallen away Catholics have stopped praying or do not even know how to pray. Matthew Kelly[1] says-

“Prayerlessness is one of the great torments of modern time…We have fallen into the tyranny of the urgent, which demands that we rush from one urgent thing to the next…This can leave us always doing urgent things but never doing important things.”

We often seem to forget that Jesus Christ spent an amazing amount of time praying. Here was the son of GOD praying. Imagine that! How much more instructive can it be.
